When I left Atlanta for London to attend art school, I had never been out of the United States before. I never left the country before I moved away from it for years. In reality, I was stepping into a lifelong journey. Those first months abroad immersed me in centuries of art, design, and culture. My studies took me across Europe, the Middle East, and China. Beyond school, my own curiosity pulled me even further, traveling to exotic places like Nicaragua and other off-the-beaten-path destinations. Every journey revealed new textures of life, and the travel bug bit me hard.
From the medieval streets of Europe to small art markets in Nicaragua, I discovered a pattern: each community holds its own mythology: its legends, rituals, and stories passed quietly from one generation to the next. These weren’t just tourist stops or pretty backdrops. They were living stories. This realization became the lens through which I view the world: a fusion of art, design, travel, and a deep fascination with local lore.
Back in the States, my career in television production honed my ability to translate these observations into compelling visuals and shape raw footage into narratives that resonate. Over time, I began to see how powerful it could be to help communities, small businesses, and destinations reveal their authentic selves to the world.
Today, after years as a world traveler, I find myself nestled in the forests of Western North Carolina a place that mirrors the very communities I want to uplift. Living here among winding roads, mountain lakes, and close-knit communities has deepened my appreciation for the quiet beauty and rich stories embedded in small towns and independent businesses. Atlas Mythos was born from this convergence: global perspective meets local heart.
Through Atlas Mythos, I bring together consulting, marketing, and creative direction to help towns, boutique businesses, and independent hosts share their unique stories. With cinematic visuals, thoughtful strategy, and a touch of mythic imagination, I transform authentic local experiences into campaigns that spark curiosity, grow tourism, and leave lasting memories that become legendary within families.
From Atlanta to London to the far reaches of the globe, and now home in Western North Carolina, my journey has come full circle. Atlas Mythos exists to offer that same sense of discovery to travelers from all over to help the places they visit share their magic with the world.
